This week’s tip is a simple little one but it sure does help us. We were having a lot of trouble with the trash bag slowly working its way into the trash can, which created quite a mess at times. One day it dawned on me to use a large rubber band to hold the bag to the can. I just stick the bag in the trash can, fold over the extra, and put the rubber band over that. Sure works for us!

I never seem to have those large rubber bands, so I cut the waist band off old panty hose. The one on my trash can has been there for years.
